Job Description

Are you looking for a great new career opportunity that is anything but boring? As a Paving Crew member, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper installation of rock and asphalt materials. This includes building takeoff mats, raking joints, fixing mat defects and placing/raking material in areas the paver cannot reach.

Responsibilities

Paving Crew members: – Safely shovel, rake, remove and install materials – Operate paving equipment based on training & experience – Properly install rock and asphalt materials – Monitor mat and joint appearance to ensure smoothness and evenness standards are met. – Call out defective/areas of concern to Paving Foreman for immediate remediation. – As needed, in a timely manner, using a plate compactor or other manual technique, properly compact the inside corners and curb lines to achieve smooth matched appearance to the paving mat.

Job Description

APM Paving is a Kentucky based, regional paving and asphalt restoration company. We are seeking dependable, hard-working, career minded individuals for full time positions in our Seal Coating Operation.
 

Job Responsibilities:

– Use of push blower and/or wire broom to clean surface prior to application of seal coat or crack fill material – Application of crack fill material utilizing a crack seal kettle – Application of seal coat material utilizing brooms and spray wand – Manual labor including shoveling, brooming and raking – Able to work in a team environment and follow directions of manager as to daily tasks and expectations for each specific project or job site – Perform other duties as assigned.
 

Job Requirements:

– Must pass drug test
– Must have current driver’s license
– Experience in paving and concrete is a plus
– Competitive pay up to $18/hour depending upon experience.
Job Description
You will be operating a dump truck to pick up and deliver aggregates, asphalt, sand, rock and other materials to construction sites. Must be able to operate vehicle and comply with all FMCSA, DOT, State and Local regulations. Adhere to company safety policies. Be able to complete log books, vehicle inspections and site condition reports. Responsible for cleaning truck cab, inspecting each truck you drive before you leave site or shop. 


Job Qualifications 
– Must possess a valid CDL Class A or B (endorsements a plus), medical card, and clean MVR 
– Must be able to drive a manual transmission 
– Experience hauling asphalt is a plus Knowledge of DOT and CDL regulations 
– Must pass a drug screen 
– Willing to go the extra step for safety 
– Must be able to climb, bend, kneel to get in/out of truck without issue 

Job Requirements 

Education: High school or equivalent Required Experience: 1-2 years CDL Heavy truck driving experience. 
Required License Or Certification: Commercial Drivers License 


Schedule: HOME DAILY Monday to Friday 
Supplemental Pay: Performance bonus 
License/Certification: CDL A (Preferred) 
Vehicle: Lowboy Tractor Trailer Asphalt Tri-Axle Dump Trucks
